Whenever the times are very hard when I have to endure spiritual attacks , I am reminded that there is a very good reason for this. I am reminded that the battle is the Lord. All the storms do is drive away the things God don’t want in my life.

If the storm comes and it blows chaff out of my life, that is fine.. I am still here! I am still standing praising GOD!!

I can declare that I am still standing. I am still praising God. I might be bruised but when the storm stops I will declare I am still here.!!!

God is irreplaceable, his name will continuously be praised by his people. We should always remember that without god we are nothing he makes all things possible; we cant do it one our own. No matter how great the problem we will over come cause he said he will not leave nor fore sake us.. So when the going gets tough call on our heavenly father

Faithfulness to God pays off.

There is none like You,
No one else can touch my heart like You do,
I can search for all eternity Lord
And find, there is none like You.

There is none like You.
No one else can touch my heart like You do,
I can search for all eternity Lord
And find, there is none like You.

Your mercy flows like a river wide,
And healing comes from Your hand.
Suffering children are safe in Your arms,
There is none like You.

There is none like You, ( There is none like You, Lord)
There is none like You.

I can search for all eternity Lord,
There is none like You.
I can search for all eternity Lord,
There is none,( there is none,)
There is none Lord,
There is none like You.

1 John 5:14 (New International Version) says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

I read this story and I want to share it.

In one of the old high rise buildings in the city, a Christian rode an elevator with 10 other people.

Midway the up, the elevator car stopped somewhere between floors 5 between and 6.

An mechanical failure had occurred.

One person started pushing the buttons like there was no tomorrow. A few others started to shout and grow franticfailure, but to no avail. One man even hit the elevator door several times hoping people will hear them.
This Christian, calm and collect, slid open a hatch and took a telephone, which connected him to the person at the lobby.

He mentioned that their car elevator was stuck and asked them to check it out.

He didn’t raise his voice
He wasn’t panicky.

After a minute or two, the elevator moved much to the relief of its passengers.

LISTEN: If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life, you have a direct connection with Him.

Just pick up the telephone called PRAYER and speak to Him directly.

No need to press the buttons. No need to slam on the door.

Talk to God for Jesus had made it possible already for us.

He hears your cries. He hears your hurts. He hears you loud and clear.

Because of our direct access to God, we can pray, meditate on His word, and be fed with spiritual food

The One Thing

“The one thing I ask of the LORD-the thing I seek most-is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.”
Psalms 27:4

There are many promises in the Bible, but I think the one that is most precious to me is when He promises that He will never leave me or forsake me. It boggles my mind to think that God promises such a thing to me. I know that there are universes and solar systems. I know that there are billions of people. And with each person there are multitudes of situations that need God’s attention. And yet, He is God. In His sovereign magnificence He has declared that He will not leave me or forsake me. Never. What comfort. What hope. What joy it brings to my heart. No wonder this same author of Hebrews could conclude, “We can say with confidence, ‘The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear.'” Today, bring whatever struggles you have, whatever fears, whatever guilt, whatever sorrow and lay it before God. Then hear Him say, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

The One Worshiped Sets The Rules

Exodus 25:23-30

23 Also, make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high [for the showbread].
24 You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a crown, a rim or molding, of gold around the top of it;
25 And make a frame of a handbreadth around and below the top of it and put around it a gold molding as a border.
26 You shall make for it four rings of gold and fasten them at the four corners that are on the table’s four legs.
27 Close against the frame shall the rings be as places for the poles to pass to carry the table [of showbread].
28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.
29 And you shall make its plates [for showbread] and cups [for incense], and its flagons and bowls [for liquids in sacrifice]; make them of pure gold.
30 And you shall set the showbread (the bread of the Presence) on the table before Me always.

1. Why is so much space given to the building?

  • The amount of space given to describing the building is important.
  • God directs Moses to record a meticulous account of the construction.

2. Worship is… acknowledging the worth of something relative to our own worth.

  • We worship what we value.
  • We value what we desire.
  • We desire what will satisfy our souls.

3. Satisfaction of the soul… is an existential reality

We want for our life to have purpose and meaning.

  • Our Satisfaction comes form purpose
  • Our Purpose is determined by our design
  • Our Design come from God

4. Only God can decide what is appropriate worship.

  • God knows what will please him.
  • God knows what will displease him.
  • God is not required to explain himself to his creation.

5. What Does This Reveal?

  • We have grown to big for our britches.
    • We think that we know what pleases God.
  • The purpose of worship is God’s pleasure, not our own.
